Financial Support

We have several types of support available to qualified students in the M.S. and Ph.D. programs. This assistance includes:

•      Fellowships sponsored by industrial supporters of our program; these normally do not require the student to perform any specific service to the School

•      Research Assistantships on a variety of externally support research projects, which permit the student to pursue thesis research on the assistantship

•      Teaching Assistantships for students who assist faculty in classes, performing as graders, lab assistants and/or consultants to the students

Stipends for each type of support are competitive with those provided by other graduate programs in chemical engineering. Students from outside of Oklahoma who are supported on assistantships also receive a waiver of the out-of-state portion of their tuition fees.

Every applicant for admission is automatically considered for financial aid. No separate application form is required. Our policy is to continue to support students throughout their graduate studies, so long as they maintain satisfactory progress toward their degree.
