2005 OSU Alumni Association Outstanding Senior

The OSU Alumni Association has selected their Outstanding Seniors from all OSU BS graduates from December 2004 through August 2005.  Of the thirteen inductees, one, Ashleigh Hildebrand, is from chemical engineering.

Selection recognizes students who have distinguished themselves through academic achievement, campus and community activities, academic, athletic, or extra curricular awards and honors, scholarships and work ethic.

Ashleigh, from Wichita, KS, has a BS in the environmental option of chemical engineering, with minors in chemistry and philosophy.  She is one of 37 students in the US selected for a 2005 Gates Scholarship to study in the graduate program at the University of Cambridge, England.  Upon returning to the US she will enter the PhD program at MIT.
